Ride Level
Definition
Example
Cruiser
Cruiser is the easiest level of riding. Expect smooth paved surfaces, a leisurely pace, and lots of chatting with other riders.
Beginner
At beginner level you can expect to get onto unpaved country roads, large and smooth enough to carry occasional cars and maybe a small hill climb.
Intermediate
Most inexperienced riders find intermediate rides a good level of challenge. You will find some single-track, variable road surfaces and hills that make you sweat.

Advanced
On advanced rides, expect to work hard. Usually includes a tough hill climb (or push) on rough surfaces, difficult single-track and steep descents.
Hardcore
Hardcore rides involve dangerous descents, barely distinguishable paths through the wilderness, jumping (or carrying) the bike down (or up) drops. And somebody usually donates some blood.

Exploratory |
When word exploratory is placed before a level definition it indicates that the route to be traveled is guessed to be at this level or higher and that the route to be ridden is not defined. These routes are recommended for those that want to blaze trails! There will be turn arounds, we will most likely get a liitle lost and we will most certainly find a good time!! |
